Whip-It Cream Chargers are steel dispensers filled with the purest-quality, food-grade nitrous oxide gas from Hungary. Food-grade nitrous oxide is used as a propellant for whipping cream, mousses, and other dessert toppings using a whipped cream dispenser/whipper. As the cream is released from the whipper, the nitrous oxide gas expands, causing the cream to whip into a foam.
Each non-refillable charger contains up to 8 grams of nitrous oxide which is sufficient to whipping up one pint of whipped cream. This box contains 50 Whip-It canisters that are compatible with standard size screw-in cream dispensers. Once the steel canisters have been emptied, they should be recycled rather than thrown away.
